About Pretty In Pear

I’ am a pear shaped and I am proud

I have : 1. Big Thighs
2. Medium length legs that makes my figure rounder from hip down
3. Big hip
4. Small and humble breast ;P
5. Define waist
6. Slim upper body
7. Almost flat bottom ( sometime it's weird when you have such a big thighs with no butt)

Sometimes I hate it Sometimes I love it....

Pear shaped determines women with bigger hip and thigh with narrower upper body, just like the shape of our lovely image above. Though this is not important enough compares to what lies inside all of us (our dearly loved golden hearts and our incredible minds), still it is against beauty standards that we always seen flashing here and there in front of us all the time (as we know we always put beauty above it all, no matter what they have been said and done, just admit it..).

The magazine covers and television ads with skinny girls or overly fake curved woman states what should women look like today. Okay, maybe the skinny DNA is somewhat attached to some of them and some of the overly curved women is not counterfeit at all. They really exist but it shouldn’t make their figure as a standard for all of us. We are uniquely different from one another and we should be grateful for whatever shape we have.

So this is coming to an end. The story of this blog basically comes from my own figure. I am a pear shaped and I want to write something that hopefully, just hopefully could unite the entire pear shaped from…uhm… I think I’m a little bit too much…sorry

Back to the subject, I just want to share my pear shaped experiences with all woman that probably is having the same “stuff” like me. With a bit of luck I hope this blog of mine could contribute a sprinkle of information that you need especially about being a pear shaped. But don’t get me wrong because this blog isn’t specialized for people with the main theme stuff only. Everyone can read it.

To the conclusion

Overall I’m not perfect, I have flaws, a lot actually and I’m not going to make my list here ;P

So, I know that my English is not grammatically faultless, and if I probably have some wrongs in my writings or else. In this case, I’m open to any suggestion.

Thank You for reading

God bless!!!

I love your page. I am a pear too ;) I want to embrace and accept my body shape the way it is and not compare myself to others. It's a work in progress.

Im pear shaped too and i admit most of the time i hate my body because i see all these petite girls everywhere and then i look at my wide hips. i also hate how pear women are labeled as "overweight" when really most of us aren't.

im really trying to start loving my body (:

Pear shaped women have such a health advantage compared to other women. We live longer, have less risk of heart disease, heart attack, diabetes, and stroke. The fat in our thighs and hips protects us. So even though our only problem is our self esteem let's be grateful for our longer life spans(:

My measurements are 36-25-39! You gotta love your pear shape! Plus, men find big hips more attractive, apparently it makes labor easier. :)

I hate buying jeans and dresses and having them be too big in the waist but too small in the hips! But we look damn good in high-waisted skirts. lol
